Dr Shahzad is an American Board of Surgery certified Surgeon. He specializes in surgical management of general and gastrointestinal diseases both open and laparoscopically.

He completed his medical school from Charles University, Prague, Europe graduating as summa cum laude. He then subsequently moved to United States matching into the prestigious Mayo Clinic Rochester, MN, USA from where he completed his Surgical training and becoming a Diplomate of the coveted American Board of surgery. Immediately after completing his training he migrated back to Patna, India to dedicate himself in providing cutting edge surgical care to patients of Bihar.

He has performed more than 5000 surgical procedures with extensive laparoscopic and endoscopic experience.

He has published extensively and carries international experience and utmost compassion when delivering care to his patients.
